Subject to the ground conditions and loading a total height of 5m can be achieved.

Q

What standard patterns are available?
A Castle Stone
Dry Stack
Ledge Stone
Sierra Dry Fit
Waterford Brick

The Production and Installation Process
Q Are PC Walls components cast at my site or precast at a production facility?
A All the pre-cast components are manufactured in a production facility and transported to site for immediate installation. This means less disruption to the construction or erection site as there is not a need to have a large storage facility on site.

Q

How long does it take to cast the wall panels?
A Wall panels and piers can be cast at a rate of 30m of wall per shift for a single panel wall.

Q

How long does it take to install the wall system?
A Once the pier footings are installed wall erection can be completed at a rate of 80m per shift for a single panel high wall and 50m per shift for a wall requiring stacking of panels.

Q

How is the final staining of the wall achieved?
A The quoted price includes a completed finish comprising of three colours. The client is given a selection of colours to choose from and a sample panel is prepared for approval. An exterior high quality paint with a ten year guarantee is used. The agreed pattern is achieved by applying a sprayed base coat and then the feature colours (two) are applied by hand to achieve the agreed unique finish.

Pricing and Ordering
Q How much does the wall generally cost to construct?
A Budget pricing can be provided at no cost. Please send us your project details.

Q

How can I get a quote for my project?
A PC Walls can provide an obligation free quote for your project. Provide us with as much information as possible such as length, height, number of bends and location of the proposed wall. We can provide a budget price first if required which will be firmed up once all details are worked out. Our engineer can come to view your project and offer suggestions if that will help.

Q

Do I need to obtain a building licence for my new wall?
A This will depend on the requirements of your local authority. In most cases a building licence is required for any new structure. The building licence has usually to be submitted by the project “owner”. PC Walls will assist in this process if necessary. Our quoted price will allow for us to provide certified engineering drawings of the wall design to submit with the application. Depending on the project scope and your local authority’s requirements there may be a need to provide additional drawings showing the wall location and length.
